Peak times at CityFit sites saw bottlenecks, with older access control struggling to maintain flow and security. In some cases, members were held up by misconfigured fingerprint readers or outdated QR check-in points. The real issue, though, was lack of trust in their existing provider — repeated faults went unresolved, and service-level agreements weren’t being met. CityFit needed more than just new hardware — they needed a proactive partner who could take ownership.

Each unit was installed with remote monitoring and smart alert logging — meaning that even unstaffed sites could detect and flag suspicious activity. Fire safety was a priority too: all systems were fail-safe compliant, and configured to unlock instantly in the event of an evacuation.

These security portals can:

  • Allow single-person access only, rejecting entry if more than one person attempts to pass through
  • Log suspicious activity and notify staff via remote alerts
  • Feature integrated fingerprint readers so members never forget a key and cannot share access
